One's orf to that London again on one of Richard Branson's finest locomotives , to host the Commonwealth Day luncheon for BRISLA (the British Sri Lankan Association ) in the presence of various MPs, Civic Dignitaries, various Countries' Ambassadors... and Mike Gatting .
It's being held in the Millennium Hotel (v e r y nice) in Knightsbridge . It's such a nice hotel, you have to wipe your feet on the way IN .

One's orf to host the National Housing Maintenance Forum awards dinner at the Birmingham Metropole Hotel tonight.
Everything's ticked on my checklist: have a shave; wash hair; posh frock... oh, and the script too. That'll definitely help.
So, another trip down the wonderful M6 motorway; how I love its speed restrictions and miles of roadworks.
Still; a nice event to present, well organised... and a nice dinner too.
